Diamond Brush Anti-Slip Treatment

DIAMOND BRUSH ANTI-SLIP TREATMENT

DESCRIPTION:

Diamond Brush Anti Slip Treatment is an Environmentally Friendly System that uses Diamond impregnated brushes and water to cut and achieve desired slip resistance when wet to;

  • Basalt
  • Bluestone
  • Exposed Aggregate
  • Granite
  • Honed Slate
  • Limestone
  • Pebblecrete
  • Polished Concrete
  • Polished Porcelain Tiles
  • Terrazzo
  • Terracotta
  • Urban Stone
  • Vitrified Ceramic Tiles
  • Most Masonry Surfaces

ADVANTAGES: No dangerous chemicals or solvents used in this process, only water, low noise level low speed scrubber used in process, fast results, cleans ingrained grime from surface. No damage caused to edges of tiles from unevenly laid tiles/pavers as brushes ride over the edge as opposed to resin or alloy diamonds that crack, chip or shatter tiles.

SEALING: For concrete we use water based Sealer Binders to protect the surface from staining & stop dusting of the abraded surface, the sealers still allow for moisture vapour to escape whilst stopping the ingress of contaminants. The sealers also give an attractive sheen & enhance the colour of the stone.

For other masonry surfaces that don’t dust after cutting the surface, we use impregnating or penetrating natural look sealers, enhancing sealers may also be used with caution as they become topical and decrease the slip resistance installed.

GRIT SIZES:

120 Grit, will achieve up to a “X” Rating .35-.44 BPN when wet. (Bathrooms & Internal Wet Areas)

70 Grit, will achieve up to a “W” Rating .45-.54 BPN when wet. (External Colonnades when Wet)

30 Grit, will achieve up to a “V” Rating .54 -.70 BPN when wet. (External Ramps when Wet)

24 Grit, will achieve a “V” Rating .54 -.70 > BPN when wet. (External Ramps when Wet)
